Coxheath & Farleigh: Pass - Hindmarsh, Edwards, Silver, Irwin Smith - Quinn (Endersby), Flisher, Hutton (Naismith) - Honey, Hills (Hutton), Hobbs (Quinn)
Coxheath & Farleigh made the best possible start to their season, making the most of their scoring chances, with a 5-0 victory over Castle Wanderers. After forcing an early own goal, Coxheath put Castle under pressure from a string of corners well taken by Thomas Flisher with George Honey poking home from one and Jack Naismith scoring from an impossible tight angle from another. Coxheath completed the scoring with breakaway goals from Luke Hills and Sean Quinn, Quinn latching on to an excellent through pass from Harry Hutton. When Castle looked to score Coxheath keeper Ryan Pass dominated his area, earning his clean sheet and capping a confident team performance from Coxheath. |

Harry Hutton was Coxheath & Farleigh's player of the match scoring four goals in a 7-1 win over Snodland Nomads. He opened the scoring by beating the Snodland offside trap and running on goal. George Honey hit the bar before Liam Hobbs made it two with another breakaway goal. Hutton picked up a loose ball in the Snodland defence for his second. Again George Honey did everything but score. He had a shot go just over the bar before one on target which the Nomads keeper, Keiran Randall, could only parry to the feet of Harry Hutton who calmly placed the ball in the corner. There was a hectic period in the second half as Harry Hutton scored his fourth from a flick on by Thomas Flisher and Luke Hills unleashed a thunderbolt of a shot after being put through by Andrew Watkin. With Coxheath 6-0 up Snodland's Ryan Adams took full advantage of a mix up in the Coxheath defence to score for the Nomads and their substitute keeper Sam Shaw had a good game to deny Coxheath's strikers more goals until Harry Hutton unselfishly set the ball up for Flisher to score Coxheath's seventh. |

Coxheath & Farleigh had to work hard to take all three points by a well organised Blue Eagles team that took the lead when Jack Metland scored a breakaway goal. Thomas Flisher equalised when drilled the ball home after latching on to James Silver's free kick taken from deep in the Coxheath half. Early in the second half Coxheath's Luke Hills shot just over the bar and Sean Quinn missed a difficult chance across the Blue Eagles goal. Coxheath's keeper, Ryan Pass, maintained his fine start to the season with a string of saves, and bravely diving at Charlie Smith's feet, to shut out the Eagles. With the game edging towards a draw Flisher hustled for the ball in midfield and kept possession to score his second, deftly placing the ball past the Eagles keeper, Jack Howard, with the outside of right foot. Blue Eagles pressed hard for the equaliser. Sam Carter, who had an excellent game for Eagles, rattled the Coxheath goal hitting a post and the bar in the closing minutes but Coxheath ran out winners 2-1 after an entertaining and well balanced game. |

Swale Magpies picked up their first league points of the season in a convincing 5-3 win over Coxheath & Farleigh. Tom Bullock opened the scoring with a goal excellently struck from outside the area. Jack Naismith equalised with a near post header from Thomas Flisher's corner. Tommy Beaney and Andrew Watkin each scored to level the match at half time. In the second half Magpies took hold of the game, pressuring the Coxheath defence into conceding an own goal before Joe Brown's pace and finishing was rewarded with two well-taken goals, and with the game almost over Harry Hutton scored a late consolation goal for Coxheath. |

Coxheath & Farleigh were made to work hard for their 4-2 win over Staplehurst Monarchs. Alex Russell put the Monarchs in front heading in a corner kick. Luke Hills scrambled an equaliser before Harry Hutton's cross found its way through a crowded goal area to give Coxheath the lead. Although Coxheath piled on the pressure Staplehurst defended their goal well. Coxheath needed two excellent goals to make sure of their win, Luke Hills driving in a shot after being put through by Liam Hobbs' pass and George Hindmarsh cracking home a thunderous volley from outside the goal area. Staplehurst kept working hard and got their reward when Tom Sanders beat the Coxheath offside and ran in to score a late consolation goal. |

Coxheath's late winner against Hartley was the only goal of a game dominated by the defenders. Hartley's goalkeeper Robert Fry was outstanding but four minutes from time he was finally beaten by George Honey's shot, from a quickly taken short corner, which looped into the top corner of the goal. Hartley had their chances, rattling the Coxheath bar in the first half, but the Coxheath centre backs James Silver and Charlie Roughton both made excellent tackles to deny the Hartley attack and help their keeper Ryan Pass secure his second clean sheet of the season. |

Coxheath played their best fluent passing football to secure a win over Borough Green. George Honey, supported by his entire team, scored a very well taken hat trick: shooting from inside the box, beating the Borough Green offside to run in and score and poking a corner home through a crowded goal area. Thomas Flisher had opened the scoring with a low driven shot. Harry Hutton's looping shot was cleared away but only after the ball had crossed the line. Borough Green kept working hard and Coxheath keeper Ryan Pass made some very brave saves before Chris Parker's scoring run on goal for Borough Green. |

Coxheath beat Snodland 4-2 to maintain their position at the top of Division One. In a game of two different halves Thomas Flisher put Coxheath ahead with a low shot which went in off a post and Josh Hart equalised for Nomads. Coxheath then dominated the first half with some attractive possession football, Luke Hills cooly stroking the ball past Nomads keeper Sam Shaw before identical strikes from George Honey. Finding himself in space on the edge of the Snodland goal area Honey calmly placed the ball in the top corner twice in two minutes. Immediately after the interval Ryan Fuller pulled a goal back for Nomads, but that was the only goal of a much more even second half in which both sides had chances but failed to score. |

Coxheath were five seconds away from going out of the Challenge Cup when Jack Naismith drove a shot through a crowded goal to score past Range Rovers keeper Oliver Dewey and force this evenly balance tie into extra-time. Rovers had opened the scoring inside two minutes through Oliver Thatcher but George Honey equalised after running on to a defence splitting through ball. Rovers regained the advantage when Tom Noakes stabbed home Elliot McIntire's free kick and held their lead, thanks to a fine save from Coxheath keeper Ryan Pass, until the game went into added time. With extra-time deadlocked and penalties looking inevitable Luke Hills found himself one-on-one with the keeper and deftly chipped the ball into the top corner to give Coxheath the lead for the first time in the match. There was still time for Rovers' Tom Montgomery to crack a late free kick against Coxheath's bar but the home side held on to snatch a place in the Cup Semi-Finals. |

Goalkeepers Ryan Pass and Jack Howard were on top form in a tight game between their teams, Coxheath and Blue Eagles both drawing applause from the spectators. The save of the match came from Pass as he effortlessly caught a very well struck free kick. He was beaten once but Sam Carter's header struck the post. Howard couldn't stop the only goal of the game when Coxheath's Harry Hutton forced a defensive error as Blue Eagles conceded an own goal. Coxheath almost scored a second but George Honey having dummied the ball past an advancing Howard saw his shot trickle wide of the post. |

If Coxheath has played with the commitment and energy shown in the last two minutes of this game the result would have been very different. On a very cold and blustery morning in Sittingbourne, a large pitch and illness in the Magpies team suggested this was going to be a straighforward game for Coxheath. Not a bit of it. After dominating the early part of the game, Coxheath conceded a goal to the Magpies against the run of play. Coxheath chased the game for the rest of the match, giving away a penalty after a clumsy challenge in the goal area. Two terrific strikes from George Honey and Thomas Flisher gave the scoreline some respectability but it was too little too late. |

Chasing a three goal defecit for the second game running was not where Coxheath expected to be in a home game against Hartley, a team second from bottom in the league with the lowest goal scoring record apart from bottom side MPE. An early defensive mix-up forced Ryan Pass to make a challenge from which he gave away a penalty. He dived the right way but couldn't get his fingers to the spot kick. Hartley doubled their advantage with a splendid free kick from outside the goal area which no keeper could have stopped. By half-time Hartley were well deserving of a three goal lead. In the second half Coxheath began to play their own football and dominated the play but they couldn't capitalise on Harry Hutton's super header from a Thomas Flisher corner. It was Flisher who scored the late second goal for the second week running but despite a frantic end to the game Hartley held on for only their second win of the season. |

The result of this game shows that the league leaders beat the league's bottom team 2-0. Had Coxheath made the most of their chances on goal the final score should have been a lot higher, and most of that before half-time. As it was MPE defended in numbers and made it difficult for Coxheath to find a way on goal. Luke Hills missed a couple of golden opportunities but a strike from George Honey and a goal mouth scramble that Jack Naismith poked home were as much as Coxheath could muster. MPE barely had a shot on target all match. Three points but not a convincing performance from a team experiencing a late season dip in form. |

Five minutes away from a place in the Challenge Cup Final - and it all went wrong. Coxheath dominated this Cup Semi-Final for a long period. Quite simply what deserved to be goal of the season, a belting Thomas Flisher shot from long range, put Coxheath ahead. The team played some flowing passing football and a move early in the second half was finished off by Sean Quinn who'd only been on the pitch three minutes. By the time Coxheath should have been thinking about keeping possession and playing the ball into the Magpies corners, thoughts were begiing to drift to the Vup Final. But Magpies weren't out of it. They continued to battle and scrambled one goal before scoring another from a corner. Swale were delighted. In the first minute of extra time Jordan Brown lofted a shot from wide on the right wing which looped over Ryan Pass - a great strike derving of a team on their way to the Cup Final, which Swale were. Although Coxheath ran and ran they didn't look like scoring in extra time. For the third time in the season Swale Magpies had got the better of Coxheath but, at least, on this occasion they had looked like they were going to loose .......until those last five minutes. |

In a game between first and second in the table, Coxheath beat Range Rovers 4-1 to maintain their title hopes. In an impressive team performance, where their passing game was made difficult on a very heavy pitch, Coxheath came from behind after Michael Cannon put Rovers ahead with a shot from the edge of the goal area. The equaliser came on the stoke of half-time when George Honey's free-kick taken alongside the corner flag found the net. In the second half Coxheath took control of the game. Liam Hobbs put Coxheath ahead with a shot into the top of the net, Jack Naismith took advantage of a loose ball in the Rovers goal area to stab home Coxheath's third goal and Hobbs rounded off his own outstanding performance by capitalising on another loose ball to score at close range. Rovers continued to work hard to score but couldn't find any way past Coxheath's central defender James Silver or stand-in keeper Luke Hills who both had good games. |

Coxheath maintained their push for the Under 12s Division One title with an excellent all-round team effort to defeat a strong and well-organised Borough Green Juniors side. Andrew Watkin put Coxheath ahead in the second minute. George Honey's freekick was cleared by Borough Green but only as far as Watkin who, from the edge of the area, headed the back into the back of the net. Coxheath dominated the first half, but Borough Green equalised straight after the restart. Three penalty kicks then dominated the match. Borough Green missed a spot kick after a handball, then Thomas Flisher scored from the spot after he was brought down in the goal area. Minutes later Coxheath keeper Ryan Pass, diving to his left, saved Robbie Farnham-Rose's spot kick given for a high elbow in the area. The win means Coxheath need just three points from their last two league games to win the Under 12s Division One title.

Cheered on by a large contingent of supporters, Coxheath secured the Division One title for their manager Jason Hobbs with an emphatic 7-0 away win over an under-strength but determined Castle Wanderers side. The highlight of the match was a dramatic spell of eight minutes in the first half in which Coxheath scored five goals. Luke Hills opened the scoring by running onto Andrew Watkin's through ball and slotting home. Thomas Flisher then drove the ball through a crowded area and Sean Quinn poked home before George Hindmarsh, marking his return to full fitness after a long-term injury, scored the goal of the game with a left foot shot from the edge of the goal area and Flisher scored his second to put Coxheath five up at the break. In the second half Coxheath's Jack Naismith put the ball in the net but his effort was ruled offside but George Honey beat the Castle offside twice to run through and score. Although Jake Rose went close to scoring for Castle, Coxheath keeper Ryan Pass and his defence marshalled by James Silver kept their sixth clean sheet of the season |

Vinters Park made Coxheath work hard for a final point in their Championship winning season. Three times Vinters Park took the lead in a very entertaining and competitive game, and three times Coxheath levelled the score in their 3-3 draw. Anthony Quinnell gave Vinters the lead in the first half. Luke Hills equalised with a goal made by George Honey who crossed into the area after evading several Vinters defenders. Quinnell scored his second, and Honey equalised with his 14th league goal of the season. Coxheath keeper Ryan Pass kept his side in contention with two stunning saves before Vinters' Ryan Croucher then rose to head home a corner kick and set the game up for an exciting finish, and although Zac Foster-Crouch in the Vinters goal did well to parry James Silver's long kick freekick, Sean Quinn was on hand to poke home Coxheath's third equaliser.
