Presentation Evening...
This evening was the first of our new look presentation nights. Due to the growth of the Club over the past years we had to split the day into two sessions for health & safety reasons, 7-a-side teams and 11-a-side teams.
We hope that you enjoyed yourselves.
The problem with the BBQ was because of delivery problems due to an accident on the motorway on the Friday. Saturday’s delivery did not happen. We now have access to a chest freezer so this should not occur again as food can be delivered frozen.
The lack of a BBQ meant that people left early to get some food and coupled with the lack of a real DJ and a remaining crowd; no-one danced.
On the plus side, there was a good turnout and a good profit but next year we will run this on two separate evenings. The raffle prizes were very good and any winning tickets that have not been claimed are listed above. The photos spread out around the hall were also very good.
Many thanks to Jason Bartram of Maidstone United who did a great job and everyone was grateful that he stayed around all day and chatted to people.
